Con artist, Portia Lumas, was once a wealthy woman, who was married to a well-known surgeon. She had it all, until one mistake cost her everything. She bails on her court date for fear of going to jail and decides to skip town with her young daughter, Sophia, in tow. Using different aliases and stolen credit cards, the pair settles in a new state.

With the body of a grown woman, Sophia's curves are dangerous! Now a teenager, Sophia, utilizes her seductive skills and becomes a force to be reckoned with. She will do anything to keep mother-dearest happy. Sophia and Portia's relationship is inseparable. When their backs are against the wall, they take measures into their own hands. When a murder occurs in their neighborhood, the pair leaves town and head overseas.

Portia befriends Adalbert, a wealthy businessman. He furnishes her a place to stay, among other things. Once settled, Sophia has plans of her own that don't sit well with Adalbert. Meanwhile, Portia marries Adalbert, who quickly finds out about his wife's candid past and uses it against her to get rid of her daughter. When things don't go the way Portia anticipates, there is hell to pay. Through all the turmoil, deceit, and transgressions, can Portia and Sophia make it back to the states alive?

Inseparable is a twisted, dramatic, and fast paced story about how far a daughter will go to protect her mother.

This mother and daughter duo was like the new Bonnie and Clyde in 2016 they was on it, doing any and everything! Sophia character was grownish but hey most girls are these days. The skipping town, violence and sexual encounters had me like woo, they going to far, but the story kept me turning the pages to see what happens next. This was by far my favorite from this author. I was on a roller coaster ride all the way in Germany! I really enjoyed it! Kuddos to the author!

Inseparable a STANDALONE novel edition by Bianca Harrison Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Unlike urban novels, which tend to be deliciously ratchet with cheating trap thug storylines and good girls gone wild, this must-read veers in its own lane.

This story is a first person perspective of a young girl whose grown up under the thumb of a con artist mother. From witnessing her mother's money-hungry ways and manipulative behavior, she's taught firsthand that there's no such thing as security, and that you should always be one-ten steps ahead of your enemy.

Beautiful and intelligent, her star is mired by sexual abuse. Her mom forces her to engage in adult behavior before her time, mainly to appease the men who enravel themselves in their world. Her mother bounces from man to man once their secrets are under the threat of exposure, leaving no room for stability in this girl's world. Ultimately their past catches up to them overseas, when they attempt to pull off the ultimate con, but become outmatched by the other players in this crazy game.

I appreciate that the author left the sexual scenes between the girl and these men to a bare minimum. She didn't build up the scenes with this minor and men to a new level. You know what happened, and you understand she's clearly enjoying it because she's learned to make the most of it, but it's not glorified in any way.

You *ARE* left feeling sorry for a few people in this book though... namely a young man named Bruno.

In a way you're also left feeling bad for the protagonist. She grew up manipulated to remain "her mother's keeper," even when things turned for the worse. She started to see the truth in her mother's actions, but she was too deep in the game when it all came to the light.

Bianca Harrison is my kind of author; she knows how to incorporate the craziness of life on the fringes of normal reality, and add in drama without making you roll your eyes in disbelief. (Okay, you might bug your eyes in disbelief, but not in a disgusted manner.) She also adds layers of richness to her plots, and manages to interweave conflicts, themes, and messages throughout.
Omg Bianca you outdid yourself on this one. I read it in 2 days. I love it!!! This book is amazing you did that!!!
This was a good book. I would recommend this to be read. It is sad as well, poor girl. Good book
Omg I loved this book! I felt sorry for the daughter. She went through so much in her life and she did whatever it took to make her mom happy by any means necessary. It's a page turner and keeps you guessing what's going to happen next. It will definitely leave you "hanging" for the next chapter!
This book reminded me of a life time movie. My heart goes out yo Emma. If only there was a part 2 where she gets her happily ever after
This is my first time reading this author's work and it has left me speechless, but not in a good way. There was just too much going on with the two main characters.

All that scamming, murders, rape seemed disjointed and evoke no emotion except disgust.
I don't know how to describe how I feel after reading this book. All this killing would have amount to nothing good as the saying goes. The mother was just so greedy and heartless and the daughter went along right with it. When the mother killed the father, the daughter had suspicion that her mother may have done it. If she loved her father that much and was a happy teenager when he was alive, why follow the mother evil ways. The mother had her teenaged daughter having sex with grown men.
This mother and daughter duo was like the new Bonnie and Clyde in 2016 they was on it, doing any and everything! Sophia character was grownish but hey most girls are these days.
